Geraldine Lambert Sands, 70, of Friendsville, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Lambert; mother, Blanche Walker Lambert; daughter, Gwendolyn Edgar; brothers, Kenny Lambert and Johnny Ray Lambert; sister, Nancy Dotson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Jim Barbee of Mayesville, SC; son, Jimmy Sands of Friendsville; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Diane Lambert of Friendsville; son-in-law, Joe Edgar of Rockford; grandson, Justin Barbee of Mayesville, SC; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Brackin officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Big Springs Cemetery.
