Gladys L. Mayes

MAYES, Gladys L., age 82 of Maryville, died Tuesday, February 19, 2002, at her home. She was a member of Green Meadow United Methodist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Louisville Chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Mayes. Survivors include: daughter, Patricia Ann Slagle of Maryville; son, Louie Edward Le Roy of Athens, TN; grandchildren, Roy Hugh McGullion, Beth McKenzie, James Walter Le Roy; 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blount County Rescue Squad, P. O.
