Gloria Ann Buck

Gloria Ann (Guse) Buck, of Alcoa, TN, passed away on Nov. 27, 2025, at age 84.

Gloria was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, on Jan. 28, 1941, to Anna M. and Gebhard R. Guse. She graduated from St. Mary’s Springs Academy and St. Agnes School of Nursing in Fond du Lac.

Gloria was a dedicated Registered Nurse, formerly employed by UT Medical Center and Tennessee Valley Eye Center for over 30 years. From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a nurse, that was her true calling.

Gloria was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She approached all things in life with deep faith and wholehearted commitment. She had a great love for family and was a beloved wife, mother, and Nonna. She was steadfast, the rock of the family. She sewed beautifully, enjoyed music, and was an accomplished piano player.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David E. Buck; children Christopher (Jessica) Buck, Marti (Jim) Molpus, Becki (Andy) Hunt, Robert Buck and fiancée Wendy Aldridge; grandchildren Isaac Buck, Sadie Buck, John Molpus, Alex Hunt, Nathan Buck, Lauren Molpus, Geno (Elizabeth) Buck, Ava Hunt, Gabby Buck, and Grayson Buck; brothers Robert B. (Annette) Guse, Roger R. Guse, and John G. Guse.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM. Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Alcoa with Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.  The inurnment will be at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.  A Reception will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation, patsummitt.org, in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
