Gordon Allen Mullenax

Gordon Allen Mullenax age 84 of Friendsville, passed away Sunday January 3, 2016, at his home. He was owner of Mullenax Drywall. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a loving husband, brother, and was a honest man who helped anyone and never asked for anything in return. He was preceded in death by his parents, Farris and Cora Bell Neighbors Mullenax; first wife, Kathryn Mullenax; brother, Albert Mullenax; sisters, Cora Mae Simerly and Pauline Crow; step-children, Albert Owens and Jerry Owens. Survivors include his wife Mary E. Mullenax; sisters and bothers-in-law, Martha and Fred Darnell, Linda and Kenneth Lawson, Brenda and Clyde Crisp; step-sons, Larry, Ray, and Cliff Owens; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Monday, January 4, 2016, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Hatley officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 am Tuesday at Zions Chapel Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
