Gwendolyn Lillian Patrick

PATRICK, Gwendolyn Lillian- age 85 of Maryville, passed away December 28, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a loving mother, a faithful Christian and a member of the Eastside Church of Christ. She was lovingly known as “Aunt Jadie” to her nieces and nephews and long-time Shady Valley relatives and friends. She was retired from Lowes Drugs Store where she was a cashier for 42 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert T. Patrick; her parents, Lilburn “Jack” and Myrtle Hutchinson; and four brothers, Doran, Gerald (Bill) Carl (Tom) and Herman Hutchinson. Survivors include son Ross T. Patrick of Walland; daughter, Linda Darnell, of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Theressa and James Bounds of Knoxville, Gwen and Charles Banks of Maryville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Riley Curd of Shady Valley; brother and sister-in-law, Lowell and Barbara Hutchinson of Shady Valley; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend Sandy Provence. Special thanks to Doctor Ed Kuhl and Blount Memorial 4 North nurses and staff. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eastside Church of Christ and Hillbrook Christian Camp. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday, December 31st, 2007 at Eastside Church of Christ with Minister Steve Riley officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 pm Monday at Eastside Church of Christ
