Helen B. Giles

Helen B. Giles, age 77 of Alcoa, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Ruth Flanagan Botts; sister, Barbara Botts Ferguson; brother, Max Botts. Survivors include: husband, Harold L. “Doc” Giles of Alcoa; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas K. And Loretta Hobbs of Maryville, Alan and Susie Giles of Louisville; grandson, Wes Giles of Louisville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Estella and Tony Oliveri of Hartford, CT, Kathryn and Clarence Mendel of Houston, TX, Eleanor and James Chaffin of Houston, TX, Shirley and Elwayne Barrett of Houston, TX; sister, Dorothy Jennings of Bryan, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Charlene Botts of Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Robert Brown officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
