Homer Murphy

MURPHY, Homer, age 94 of Maryville, passed away, Monday, February 17, 2003, at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. He was a member of Springview Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Kate Grindell Murphy; sons, Lee and Tommy; parents, John C. and Evelyn Carpenter Murphy; brothers, Coy, Bart, Frank, Furman, Rollie and Earl Murphy; sisters, Mae McTeer, Maude Tulloch and Blanche Langford. Survivors include: sister, Lora Wilson of Maryville; several nieces and nephews to include, Jimmy Murphy, Von Murphy and Kathy Caldwell all of Maryville. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Guy Milam and Rev. John Franklin officiating. The interment will follow in Carpenters Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
