It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ina Pearl Cochran Bolton, 93, a beloved soul whose grace, warmth, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Ina departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her family, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and integrity.
Ina is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Kenneth; her parents, Ralph and Pauline Cochran; her stepmother, Leona Fink Cochran; and her in-laws, Ralph and Ruby Bolton. Her light lives on through her family: her son, Randy and Judy Bolton of Louisville, TN; her granddaughter, April and Chip Smith of Maryville; her grandson, Jeffrey and Taylor Bolton of Louisville TN; her great-grandchildren, Mattie, Lucas, Conner, Gentry, Erin, Copper, Brinley, and Brooklyn; her brother, Harry Cochran of Baileyton, TN; her sister-in-law, Anne Davenport of Cordova, TN; many nieces and nephews; and her many special friends.
Born on July 3, 1932, in Greene County, TN, Ina was a proud native of the area. She graduated from Baileyton High School, where she met the love of her life, Kenneth. Together, they nurtured a strong and Christ-like marriage for 68 years.
Ina’s legacy endures through her unwavering devotion to her loved ones and her numerous contributions to her community. She graduated from Tusculum College with a degree in Education. Ina began her teaching career at Meadow View, a two-room schoolhouse. After retiring from Batesville, Arkansas, in 1997, following 32 years of dedicated service, she continued to inspire generations of students she had taught over the years.
Ken and Ina fell in love with Batesville, Arkansas, where they lived for forty years. They were active and devout members of the First United Methodist Church of Batesville. In 2015, they returned to Louisville, TN, leaving behind many dear friends. Ina and Ken were members of Middlesettlements Methodist Church upon their return to Louisville, TN.
Ina enjoyed spending time with her family, studying her Bible, antiquing, and traveling. Her warmth and kindness will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and faith will forever remain in our hearts.
Thanks and a heartfelt appreciation go to Home Instead for their caregivers and especially to B.J. Bansen and Taliha who were with Ina from the beginning serving with love, kindness and compassion. Also, thanks to the Covenant Health Home Care and Hospice Team.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Magan Stubblefield and Matt Kilgore officiating. The interment will follow in Middlesettlements Cemetery.
