Irene W. Norton

Irene W. Norton, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Asbury Place. She was a member of Maryville First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Norton, Jr. and brother, George Wilson, Jr. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Gary Baumgardner of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Richard and Rebecca Carrier Norton of Black Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Jason Baumgardner of Atlanta, GA, Alex Norton of Louisville, TN, Katie Carter of Ten Mile, TN; great grandson, Eli Carter. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Clarks Grove Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
