J. D. "Toby" Lane

J. D. "Toby" Lane - age 88 of Maryville passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Jones Lane; brothers, Earl and Floyd Lane; father and mother, Cal and Mary Lane. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sibby Lane; son, Rick Lane; grandchildren, Jeana Rogers and husband Eric, Jennifer Abernathy and husband Keith, Anna Herin and husband Ernie; great-grandchildren, Jake and Reed Abernathy, Scarlet Rogers, Elijah, Issac, Maddie, and Elle Herin. Family and friends will meet 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Tom Hatley officiating.
