James Clarence Russell

James Clarence Russell, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Asbury Place. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville, retired from ALCOA and a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Service Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Jo Russell; infant son, Mark Russell; sister, Wanda Gibson. Survivors include his brothers, Dyrl Potter and Karen Seibold of Rockford, IL and Gary Potter and wife, Fran of Kailua, Hawaii; nieces, Brenda, Pat, Debbie, Robin, Cindy, Kim and Haley; special cousin, Shirlynn Stewart and husband Bill; very special friends, Virginia Porter and Homer and Betty Whitehead. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
