James Hannah Walker

James Hanna Walker, age 84 , of Maryville went to be with the Lord on June 5th, 2010, while surrounded by his family at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. A lifetime member Kagleys Chapel Baptist Church, Jim was an active Deacon for 40years. He was also a passionate farmer, an Air Force Veteran, a Blount County schoool bus owner/operator and a retired employee of the Tennessee Department of Employment Security. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Hanna and Pearl Taylor Walker, and a baby brother, Robert . He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hazel Wilds Walker: daughter and son in law, Brenda and Speedy McHorney of Virginia Beach, VA ; son and daughter in law, Lloyd and Mary Walker of Maryville ; granddaughter and husband, Rachel and Travis Best of Maryville; granddaughter and husband, Lauren and Chris Kadish of Los Angeles, CA; grandson, Wesley James Walker of Maryville; granddaughter Jordan McHorney of Virginia Beach, VA; cousin, Alice Stephens of Niota, Tn; special cousin, Rexie Montgomery of Knoxville, TN The family will receive friends Tuesday June 8th 2010 from 5-7 pm followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7 pm in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clifton Hearon and Rev. Darryl Millsaps officiating. Family and Friends will meet at 9:30 am Wednesday June 9th 2010 at the funeral home to go in procession to Magnolia Cemetery for a 10:00am interment service.
