James “Jim” Lloyd Heaton was a devoted husband, exceptional father and faithful follower of Christ. Born and raised in Maryville, Tennessee, where he fell in love with his wife, Connie Prater. Jim was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed his trips to Fontana Lake.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Friendship Baptist Church with the service to follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor James Atkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Friendship Baptist Church for a graveside service.
In place of flowers, donations may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Fund, 3310 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, TN 37803.
