James Roy ''Bud'' Sparks

SPARKS, James Roy ''Bud'', age 70 of Stockbridge, GA, formerly of Maryville, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007, in GA. He was of the Baptist faith and a U. S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Gaynell Sparks; daughter, Gail Shumate; brother, Bill Sparks; sisters, Paulette Sparks, Darlene Seabolt and Peggy Sue Kimmons. Survivors include: companion, Lizzie Cooper; daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Mike Pippin of Lynchburg, VA, Penny and Keith Harris of Jenkinsburg, GA, Tiny and Bob Jones of High Falls, GA; grandchildren, Jamie and Matt, Robbie and Jared, Jeana and Amanda, Holly, Jodi, Josh, Ashley, Bobby and Katelyn; great grandchildren, Haley, Taylor, Julie, Alyssa, Noah, Sydney, Krista, Mikey, Candice and Marinda; brothers, Pete Sparks, Teter Sparks, Ed Sparks; sisters, Gaynelle Hatcher, Shirley Gasper, Betty Jo Carpenter, Dena Evans, Joyce Webb, Judy Lowe; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Sparks Family Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Ronald L. Longmire officiating.
