James W. “Butch” Butcher age 84, of Maryville passed away on August 31, 2025. James was a Veteran, U.S. Air Force, serving from 1958-1961. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Paige Butcher; parents, Charlie and Ava Butcher; sisters, Bonnie Crye, Wilma Williams; brother, Charles “Big Butch” Butcher, Jr.
He is survived by daughter, Kim Barger; 5 stepchildren, Carl Gennoe, Ricky Gennoe, Debbie Gennoe Hood, Terry Gennoe, Kevin Gennoe; 7 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The body was donated to science. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
