Jean Maxey

Jean Maxey, age 82, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at West Hills Health and Rehab in Knoxville. She was a member of Maryville First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Maxey; parents, James Drewery and Clara Jenkins Gregory and brother, Kenneth Gregory. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Maxey; sister, Mary Prater; brother, Paul Gregory; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blount County Public Library, 508 N.
