Jennie Vee Byrd

Jennie Vee Byrd, age 83 of Greenback, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, R. J. Byrd; sons-in-law, Warren Risher, Jerry McKee and Gene Chapman; 3 infant children. Survivors include: daughters, Wilma McKee of Sweetwater, Loretta Wrobel and husband Les of Greenback, Debra Risher of Greenback and Vickie Nichols and husband Tim of Powell; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Ella Mae Brewer of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Trentham, Rev. Jack Hitch and Rev. Scott White officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Big Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
