Jesse Smyser, age 49 of Friendsville passed away on Tuesday, December 31st at UT Medical Center. Jesse was a loved husband, father and son. He is preceded in death by a son, Steven Lloyd Smyser; father, Steven D. Smyser; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lloyd and Ida Savage and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Sara; children, Josh McClanahan, Jessica, and Allison; his mother, Ellen Smyser. As well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
A planned Celebration of Life will be scheduled at Holston College Cemetery at a later date.
