Jewell Pierce Whitehead

Jewell Pierce Whitehead, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at U. T. Medical Center. A member of Ellejoy Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Whitehead; parents, Oliver (Barley) and Mima Pierce; brother, Kenneth Pierce; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Lucy Whitehead; brother-in-law, Berl Garner. Survivors include her children, Michael Whitehead, Sytha (Mitchell) King; grandchildren, Mandi (Jarrod) Millsaps, Leah Veal, Sadie King; great grandson, Austin Veal (the love of her life); great granddaughter, Sydney Millsaps; sister, Anna Mae Garner; sister-in-law, Edith Pierce; niece and nephews, Krista (Roy) Caughron, Bill (Cindy) Garner, Denny (Kenna) Garner, Kenneth Lee (Reba) Pierce; grand nieces, Chelsey Garner, Afton Ketron and husband Brandon and their son Brody; grand nephew, Cole Garner and his daughter, Lexie, Bryan Buie. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tyson Galyon and Rev. Jim Lawhorn officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home
