Joan Mcqueen Woods

Joan McQueen Woods, age 85 of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Asbury Place. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister. Survivors include her husband, James "Sam" Woods; son, James S. Woods, Jr.; grandchildren, James Eric Woods and wife Chesney and Cory M. Woods; stepbrother, Van Knox; stepsister, Charlene Hall; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Kimsey officiating. The interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
