Joe Duncan Beals III

Joe Duncan Beals III, 69, passed away March 12, 2026. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Catherine and Dr. Joe Beals, Jr. He was a loving son, brother, and husband. He was a proud Doyle Pioneer, Maryville College Scot and Second Presbyterian Church member. He was a big fan of Boston Celtics and Nascar. But, most of all he loved the Vols. He was a dedicated MRI tech. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brian; wife, Bonnie; and multiple family members.

His sense of humor was legendary and “Never heard a bad word said about him.”

He is survived by his uncle, John and Beth Beals and their son, Sam; cousin, Jennie; Barker family; Wilson brothers; brother, Brent. And waaaaaay too many amazing close friends to mention (you know who you are).

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, April 11th at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The interment will be private.
