Joe Richard Burns, age 77 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Nannie Burns; daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Jerry Roberts; son, John Burns; granddaughter, Erin Roberts; grandson, Kurt Roberts; great grandson, Alex Rudd; sister, Susie Marsh. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Salem Baptist Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Mike Parker officiating.
