Joel Edward Reeves

Reeves, Joel Edward age 70 of Rockford, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2002 at the family home. He was a member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church. He was a veteran, serving from 1951-1952, during the Korean War in which he served before finishing high school in 1953. He was graduate of Maryville College in 1957. Survivors include; wife, Nancy Barton Reeves. Children, Terrie Reeves, Joel E. Reeves, Jr. and his wife Melissa. Grandson, Ryan Davis. Sisters Dorothea Chastain and Sara Grantham. Sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Harold Samples. Jane and Harold Robbins Brother and sister-in- law, Larry and June Reeves of Athens. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Monday, July 1st, 2002 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Joe Green and Rev. Harold Robbins officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 10:00 AM Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment with military honors.
