John David Parrish

John David Parrish, age 78, passed away peacefully in his home on June 10, 2023. John was a Mason and a member of Prudentia Lodge #719. He was a faithful member of Carpenter's Campground Methodist Church. After graduating from Alcoa High School, he worked as an electrician for ORNL's X-10 plant for more than 30 years.

John was preceded in death by his parents Kyle & Flora Gatlin Parrish, infant daughter Dorothy Kay, and brother Bobby.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Sandi, son Mark, daughter Lori (Jason) Kieffer, sister & brother-in-law Joan & Darrell Lankford, sister-in-law Gail Parrish, grandson Arlo, and a large extended family.

Prior to his cremation, the family will receive friends at McAmmon - Ammons - Click funeral home in Maryville from 6:00-7:00 Wednesday evening. His funeral will follow at 7:00 with Pastor Steve Hicks officiating. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
