John Denver Cannon

John Denver Cannon, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Little River Fellowship Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Lloyd and Bertha Cannon; daughter, Diane Cannon; stepson, David Best; brother, Raymond Cannon; sisters, Molly, Ruby and Mabel. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Cannon; daughter, Teresa Gross; son, Steve Cannon; granddaughters, Kaleena and Tabitha; 2 great grandchildren; brother, R. L. Cannon; sister, Doris Duckett; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike White officiating. The interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery.
