John Franklin Caldwell

John Franklin Caldwell, age 90, and formally of Maryville, TN, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2005 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Mr. Caldwell was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Louise Hooker Caldwell and two brothers, Louis Caldwell and Hubert Caldwell. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Tom Shepherd of Grovetown, GA; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Stan and Tammy Shepherd; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Angie and Mark Brown of Atlanta, GA; and two great grandsons, Cody and Jake Shepherd. Mr. Caldwell was born in Gaver, TX to the late Charles and Kittie Caldwell. He retired from Aluminum Company of America in Alcoa, TN and was a Mason, New Providence Lodge No. 128. Mr. Caldwell was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church in Maryville, TN and then First Baptist Church of Evans, GA. Family and friends will meet at Grandview Cemetery, in Maryville, on March 15, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. for a graveside service with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
