John H. Hopper

John H. Hopper, age 77, of Maryville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, and was surrounded by his loving family. John was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church. John was also a member of the U.S. Army, a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ring 58, Smoky Mt. Mystics, a long-time umpire and member of Eagleton Little League, and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Hopper; son, Little Bill Hopper; father and mother, Cason and Neomia Hopper; brothers, Ralph and William Hopper. 

 He is survived by his son, Adam (Amanda Walton) Hopper of Maryville; granddaughters, Cameron and Kylie Logan; girlfriend, Jennifer Holsopple; sister-in-law, Charlotte Hopper; special nephew, Jeff (Suzanne) Hopper; special niece, Tammy Shuler all of Maryville; special friend, Sammy Finger of Maryville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Everett Hills Baptist Church and the service to follow at 7:00 PM with Don Thompson officiating.
