John Oliver, Jr.

John Oliver, Jr., age 82 of Michigan, formerly of Maryville, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009, in Michigan. He was a loving father and a wonderful man who worked hard all of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Oliver and Nola Belle Oliver; sister, Emily Vivian Oliver; brothers, Gene Russell Oliver, William Robert Oliver. Survivors include his daughters, Karen Vickie Limberg, Brenda K. Runyan, Sherrye Duan Novak, Pamela Dawn Shackleford; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Oliver Jones, Atha Drake; former wife, Dorothy Mae Oliver. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Russell officiating. The interment will follow in Middlesettlements Cemetery.
