John Todd Peterson

John Todd Peterson, age 47, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 20, 2017. Todd was a teacher and coach for 13 years at Heritage, Coalfield and Clinton High Schools before taking a job with Pfizer pharmaceuticals. He was an avid University of Tennessee sports fan - loved the Vols. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Liz Peterson and grandfather, Mayford Wilson. Todd is survived by his parents, Don and Sherry; brother, Mark Peterson and niece Emily of Nashville, TN; Crista Peterson, mother of his children, Logan, Gracie, Maggie and Hayden of Knoxville, TN; grandmother, Bettie Wilson of Maryville, TN. A private burial is being planned.
