Joseph Harvey Hipps

Joseph Harvey Hipps, age 77 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a Christian of God, member of Keebles Missionary Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp from 1951-1967, serving 3 tours in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Lee Morgan and parents, Oliver Dewey and Mamie Isbill Hipps. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Breeden Hipps; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Joe and Cheryl Hipps; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and David Beane, Sherry Collett and Darius Allen; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Mattie Lou Bug Perez; brother, Donald Hipps. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Martin and Rev. Noah Russell officiating.
