March 1, 2002 HURST, Judy D. Watkins Norton, age 61 of Maryville, died Thursday, February 28, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of East Millers Cove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, C. L. and Bessie Watkins; sister, Toni Long and brother, Mark Watkins. Survivors include: husband, Gary G. Hurst; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Richard Smith of Townsend; stepchildren, Gary Joe Hurst and wife Frances of Germany, Jessie Hurst, Caleb Hurst both of Townsend; grandchildren, Austin Smith, Dustin Smith and Raylynn Hurst; sisters, Shirley Hamby of Marietta, GA, Donarieta McBrayer of Maryville; brother, Jim Watkins of Maryville; twin brother, Jerry Watkins of Lawrenceville, GA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow in West Millers Cove Cemetery.
