June Vittetoe

JUNE VITTETOE, age 71 of Rockford, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, February 24, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Rockford Baptist Church and was retired from Rockford Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Gladys Vittetoe; daughter, Gail Vittetoe; grandson, Geter P. Jenkins III. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Remona and Gary Latham of Louisville and Glenda and Geter Jenkins, Jr. of Maryville; granddaughters, Cissy and husband Josh Helton and Jennifer and husband Nolan Shepherd of Maryville; grandson, Jacob Latham of Louisville; great granddaughters, Mikayla and Katelyn Helton of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Ann Vittetoe; brother, Edward “Curley” Vittetoe all of Rockford; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Ken and Daisy Hall of Alabama, Ann Vittetoe of Rockford and Clara Buchanan of Maryville. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russ Maples officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Clark’s Grove Cemetery for the interment service.
