Junior Hall Strickland

Strickland, Junior Hall age 77 of Maryville passed away Friday, December 28, 2001 at the family home after a long illness. He was a member of the Mountain View Lodge Chapter 358. He retired from ALCOA after 30 years of service and was a member of the ALCOA 25 year club. He was a long and faithful member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and a deacon for many years. Preceded in death by: parents, Garrett and Hettie Strickland. Sister, Merrietta. Survivors include: wife, Agnes Strickland. Daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Chris Wilson of Maryville. Dale and Bill Reagan of Greenback. Son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Renee Owenby of Vonore. Grandchildren Rena Williams of Greenback. Christina and husband Josh Wyrick of Maryville. Michael Wilson of Maryville. Brothers, Carl of Douglasville, GA.; Reed of Dalton, GA.; Blev of Trussville, AL.; and G.H. of Loudon. Sister, Lena Murray of Loudon. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Alvin Patton, Rev. Ben Ward, and Rev. Dennis Robinson officiating. A Masonic Service will follow. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 11:00 am Monday at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment.
