Katherine Elizabeth Spangler Laugherty

LAUGHERTY, Katherine Elizabeth Spangler, age 82 of Maryville, passed away Monday, May 9, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her mother, Ollie Rudd Spangler and father, Archie Spangler. Survivors include her son, Wayne Allison Laugherty; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Scott and Darlene Laugherty; grandchildren and spouses, Tara and Mike Rasher, Scott and Andrea Laugherty, Brandon and Sarah Laugherty, Dustin and Wendy Laugherty, Donna and Todd Best; great grandchildren, Miranda, Camden, Cameron, Samantha, Landon, Chase, Matthew and Leigh Ann; brothers, Donald, Robert and Paul Spangler; and half-brothers and half-sisters of the Cowden family of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harry Sherrer officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service.
