Kathryn “Katie” M. Zambuto passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 45 after an illness. She was predeceased by her mother, Ann LoTemple.

Katie was a loving wife, devoted mother, and best friend. She is survived by her husband, Peter; her son, James; her father, John LoTemple; her sister, Ellen LoTemple; her brothers, John (Laurie) LoTemple and Joe LoTemple; her father- and mother-in-law, Peter and Nancy Zambuto; her brother-in-law, David (Emily) Zambuto; her sister-in-law, Michelle Mika; her nieces and nephew, Lily LoTemple, Liana LoTemple, Gabriella Zambuto, Hannah Zambuto, Julianna Mika, and Jeremy Mika; as well as many close friends.

Katie and Peter were married on April 30, 2005, in Rochester, NY. She graduated from the Aquinas Institute of Rochester, the Rochester Institute of Technology, and FLCC – Culinary Arts. Katie worked as a clerk with the New York State Court System until the birth of her son, when she was blessed to become a stay-at-home mother.

Katie was a very special person - fun to be around, quick to joke, and always up for a good prank. She loved to cook and bake and was constantly experimenting with new recipes to perfect them. When Katie was around, no one ever went hungry. She also loved traveling and going on adventures, always finding unique places to visit. She was always excited to find a good deal.

Katie was creative and a true perfectionist. She cherished time with friends and family and never felt she had enough of it. She held strong to her faith and believed that God always had a plan. Kind and thoughtful, her final act of generosity was giving the gift of life to another.
