Larry Otis Cogburn

Larry Otis Cogburn- age 62 of Rockford, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013, at the family home. Preceded in death by parents, Jack and Martha Cogburn; brother-in-law, George (Pete) Thomas. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Purdy Brothers Trucking for 25 years. Survivors include: wife of 44 years, Pat Cogburn; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Jed Davis; son, Doug Cogburn; grandchildren, Scottie Davis and fiance Tiffany, Chelsea Davis; brothers, Roger (Anna) Cogburn, Mickey (Debbie) Cogburn; sisters, Sandy Thomas, Tammy Stout, Pam (Dennis) Kirtley, Diane (Jerry) Goins; Sisters-in-law, Brenda (Charles) Landers, Linda Chandler, and Judy(John)Whitehead; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in Morganton Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, 982-6812.
