Laura Jaunita Johnson

Laura "Jaunita" Johnson, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at U. T. Medical Center. She was born on September 16, 1930, the daughter of Willie and Thelma Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband J. T. "Shorty" Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Ruth Hamontree and Glenna Patterson; son-in-law, Terry Hamontree; grandsons, Mike Jones, Mark Jones and Warren Hamontree; great granddaughters, Kelsey Jones and Erika Jones. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home followed by a 3:00 p.m. funeral service with Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
