Leroy Eugene Lilly

Leroy Eugene Lilly, age 77 of Rockford, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War having served in the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel M. And Edna F. Lilly; brother, Raymond Lilly; sister, Vernie Lee; brothers-in-law, Otho Propst, Joe Lee and Ward VanPelt. Survivors include his wife, Maggie J. Lilly; children, Mary and David Koontz, Debbie and Rick Brown, Samuel Lilly, Wilson and Valerie Way, Doris and Ammos Simmons; brother, Harry Lilly; sisters, Lucille VanPelt and Bonnie Propst; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; friend, Robin Myers. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a military graveside service.
