Leslie Adair Baker, Sr.

Leslie Adair Baker, Sr., age 85 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church, member of the Masonic Lodge, and retired from security at McGhee Tyson Airbase. Preceded in death by his wife, Glessie M. Baker; father and mother, Elijah Andrew and Mae Hensley Baker; great grandchildren, Laci Maranda Adair Long, Brandon Howard Long, Shawn Jeremiah Cody Bowers; brothers, Drexel Ward Baker, Kenneth Pearl Baker, and Ernest Glenn Baker. Survivors include: Sons and daughters-in-law, Herchell E. And Megan Baker, Leslie A. Jr. and Lucinda Baker, Kenneth W. and Sandy Baker; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Sue and Lowell H. Ridings Jr., Barbara Joyce and Bill Dunn. 13 grandchildren ,18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; Faithful dog, Cheyenne. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2009 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Chapel with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
