Lillian Arwood Murphy

MURPHY, Lillian Arwood, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was born February 29, 1916 in Burnsville, NC. She was a member of Springview Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Murphy; sister, Sally Hensley and son-in-law, Walt Davis. Survivors include: daughter, Linda Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Dan Caldwell all of Maryville; grandson, Johnie L. Davis of Maryville; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Earlean and Terry Cummings; great granddaughters, Lacie, LaRanda and LaShala Cummings of Maryville; step granddaughter, Teresa Smith and husband Gerald and family; step grandson, Walter J. “Chip” Davis and family of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Dennis Bearden of Augusta, GA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Tallent officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Carpenters Campground Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
