Lillie G. Lane

Lillie G. Lane, age 91 of Townsend died Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Foothills Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. She was a caring, kind-hearted soul who enjoyed spending time with family and going on trips with her daughter and great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Hampton Garland; mother, Floye Sellers; brother, Ollie (Margaret), George and Wayne Garland; husband, Claude Lane; daughter, Claudia Lane; sisters-in-law, Rita, and Ann Garland; brother-in-law, Ervil Gregory.

Survivors include grandson, Chris Lane; great-grandson, Dakota Lane; brothers, Fred Garland of Townsend, Gene (Peggy) Garland of Alabama, Alvin Garland of Kentucky, Carey (Melissa) Garland; sisters, Nancy (Albert) Gribble of Rockford, Geneva Garland of Walland, Pauline Gregory of Maryville, Mary Sue Haynes, Amy Whitehead of Greenback, Sandra Dixon, Kathy (Ralph) Karris.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM, Friday, August 12, 2022, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 PM.
