Lloyd Whitehead, age 92 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Annie and Andy Whitehead; brothers, Archie, Lester, and Ollie Whitehead; sisters, Peggy Whitehead, Bea Hall, Louise Floro; brothers-in-law, Frank Hall, Marv Floro, Raymond Galyon, Johnny Galyon, Herman Galyon, Sherman Galyon, Clyde Nichols, Chester Galyon, William Galyon, Fred Potter; sisters-in-law, Reva Whitehead, Evelyn Whitehead, Betty Jo Galyon, Algie Galyon, Naomi Galyon, Annabelle Galyon, Ruth Galyon, Ethel Galyon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Morton and Mary Ellen Galyon. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lily Marie Whitehead; children, Connie and Sam Laugherty, Randy and Mary Whitehead; grandchildren, Samantha Huskey, Amy and Brian Thomas, Andrew Laugherty, Chris Greene, Jimmy Greene, Christopher Smith, George Smith, Michael Smith; great grandchildren, Wesley Huskey, Ashton Thomas, Trevor Thomas, Krymson Laugherty; sister, Zelda and Jim Hitson; brothers, Homer and Betty Whitehead, Chester Whitehead, Bud and Faye Whitehead; brother-in-law, Winston Galyon; sister-in-law, Sarah Potter; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Harold and Janice Ritchey. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Old Piney Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
