Lois Ruth Cook

COOK, Lois Ruth Pickens, age 77 of Knoxville, passed away Monday, June 9, 2003, at St. Mary’s Health System. She was a member of West Hill Presbyterian Church in Knoxville and was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Flossie Henry Pickens; sister, Elizabeth Redwine and brother, Sam R. Pickens. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, K. C. Cook, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Kent Jones of Bostic, NC; son, Kenneth David Cook, Jr. of Maryville; grandchildren, Kendra Jones and Josh Cook; sister and brother-in-law, Iva and C. M. Thomas of Niantic, CT; sister-in- law, Frances Pickens; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frederick Fowler officiating. The interment will follow in Eusebia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
