Lorene Margaret Byrd Ritchey

Lorene Margaret Byrd Ritchey, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Old Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ritchey; parents, Fate and Georgie Byrd; brothers, Ernest, Clifford and Lewis Byrd; sisters, Roxie Coada and Ruby Ritchey. The family wishes to express special thanks to caregivers, Tresea Nuchols and Wanda Riden. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Janice Ritchey; grandchildren, Matthew and Katie Ritchey, Maleia and Nick ONeal; great grandson, Nolan Ritchey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Jerry Van Dyke, Verla and George Waggoner all of Jacksonville, FL, Norma and Francis Garner of Maryville, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Old Piney Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
