Lydia Novella Buchanan Ledbetter

Lydia Novella Buchanan Ledbetter, age 99 of Friendsville, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the home of her daughter. She was a member of Marble Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ledbetter; daughter, Sarah Ann Ledbetter; parents, John and Hester Lail Buchanan; sisters, Etta Mitchell, Jane McNeilly, Mae Gourley; brother, Isham Buchanan; nephews, Carl Gourley, Max McNeilly, Jimmy McNeilly; niece, Mary Robinson. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Steve Koons of Knoxville; grandson, Ryan Koons and wife, Beth; great granddaughter, Hailey Koons; nieces, Evelyn Prater, Jean Fogleman, Roberta Gourley, Laverne Jones, Betty Jo Pierce, Loretta Brewer; nephews, Jack McNeilly, Kyle Buchanan, Chuck Buchanan; and many other beloved family members; precious caregivers, Krista McNeal, Darlene Rightsell, Dawn Randall, Donna Wright, and Angel St. George. Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Father Stephen Freeman officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Millers Cove Cemetery.
