Mabel Medley Taylor

Mabel Medley Taylor, age 88 of Alcoa, a wonderful loving mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, at U. T. Medical Center. She was a member of Armona Baptist Church and retired from Sears after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Taylor; parents, William M. and Trecie Leach Medley; sisters, Beatrice Moyers, Ruth Evans; brothers, Albert Medley, Fred Medley, Floyd Medley, Clyde Medley, Bill Medley. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Redman of Friendsville; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Amy K. and Richard Gamble of Maryville; grandson, Alan Redman of Friendsville; great grandson, Taylor Cole Hurst; great granddaughter, Emory Kaylyn Gamble; sister, Jean Counts of Maryville; sister-in-law, Lorene Medley of Speedwell; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Lawson officiating. The entombment will follow in Sherwood Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Pall Bearers will be grandsons and nephews.
