Madge Morton Gideon

GIDEON, Madge Morton, age 94 of Maryville, passed away Friday, March 14, 2008, at Asbury Place. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church, preceded in death by her husband, John R. Gideon; parents, Granville A. And Grace Talbott Morton; brothers, John B. Morton, Joseph H. Morton, Charles T. Morton, and Glenn Morton; sister, Ruth Riley. Survivors include her daughter, Sally Gideon Sayles; granddaughter, Susan Bihl and husband Tom; grandson, Brad M. Sayles and wife Christy all of Maryville; granddaughter, Sara Coon and husband Jim of Falls Church, VA; sisters, Sue Morton Swann, and Jean Morton Smith of Maryville; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Dr. Emily Anderson officiating.
