Maelee Whitehead Bradam

Maelee Whitehead Bradam, age 88 of Maryville, passed quietly into Heaven Monday, October 10, 2011. Born to Lilly and John Whitehead in Cades Cove. Having made a profession of Christian faith as a young woman, she found deep comfort in her faith and was active with the Silver Crusaders of Smoky View Baptist Church before becoming a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Alcoa. Preceded in death by her son, Buddy Bradam; grandson, Jeff Bradam; parents, John and Lilly Cooper Whitehead; several brothers and sisters. Those left to mourn her passing include, daughter and husband, Betty and Donnie Bales of Maryville; son and wife, Charles and Beth Bradam of Ocala, FL; daughter-in-law, Connie Bradam Bernstein; granddaughters, Jennie Conner, Michelle Edwards; grandson, Tim Bradam; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, special friends and others. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Joe Colquitt officiating.
