Margaret D. Gillespie

Margaret D. Gillespie, age 95 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Concordia of Maryville. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and retired from Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Viola Gillespie; sisters, Gaynelle Sowder and Evelyn Gillespie; brother, Otha Gillespie. Survivors include her brother, John Theodore Gillespie; nieces and nephews, Sharon and Virgil Adams, Todd and Tiffany Gillespie; great niece, Lacey Gillespie; special cousins, Betsy and Dolly; special friend, Katherine Flanagin. Special thanks to Concordia for their care. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Catherine Nance officiating.
