Margaret Frances Jones

JONES, Margaret Frances, age 102 of Broadway Towers, Maryville, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at Asbury Place. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and the Chilhowee Club. She was retired from the University of Louisville Book Store, Louisville, KY and served for 2 years as a House Mother at Lloyd Hall, Maryville College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murl C. Jones, who was a long time employee of the Louisville Courier Journal of Louisville, KY, mother, Julia Kiefer Galloway; stepfather, Leonard Galloway. Survivors include her daughter, Judith Ann Herr of Richmond, VA; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lou and Harry MacCall of Southern Pines, NC, and Margaret and Bill Dent of Maryville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville TN. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15th, 2007, at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville, KY for a graveside service with Chaplain Harry F. MacCall officiating.
